The UH Manoa Ecotourism Centre has a range of projects that are within reach of most of our locations for rental beach vacations. In East Maui there are a number of protected wilderness areas you can visit, while in the Molokini Crater there is even SCUBA diving! Tour guides will take you through these experiences, with explanations of conservation efforts being made on site.
Environmental Footprint is a buzzword these days, so consider taking a bike tour during your trip: many of our Hawaii vacation rentals are close to centers where you can rent a bicycle or arrange a hike for the day instead of driving around the island – this is an easy way to have fun on rental beach vacations while still being eco-conscious!
